The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is a premier institution of national importance in India, established in 1961 and later recognized under the "Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963." Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi. As a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for an ISRO-related project, you will perform tasks including conducting scientific research, analyzing experimental data, and contributing to the development of project deliverables. You will collaborate with researchers, assist in documentation and reporting of project progress, and aid in preparing presentations, progress reports, and technical papers associated with the project. The role also involves contributing to innovative problem-solving and achieving project objectives within specified timelines.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in research methodologies and scientific analysis, with the ability to handle and interpret data accurately.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, technology applications, and coding or programming abilities as relevant to the project.
  • Effective communication and technical writing skills for preparing research reports, documentation, and presentations.
  • Self-motivation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Prior experience with research or development projects, especially related to plasma, material science, Solid State Physics, simulation, aerospace or ISRO projects, is highly desirable.
  • Relevant academic background, such as a postgraduate degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a valid JRF/GATE or equivalent exam qualification.
