Logistics Supervisor

1] Plan daily delivery schedules and vehicle routes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of food products to retail outlets, distributors, or customers. 2] Assign delivery vehicles based on load size, destination, and product type (e.g., perishable vs. non-perishable). 3] Optimize routing for cost-efficiency, delivery speed, and fuel usage. 4] Supervise dispatch operations, ensuring the right products are loaded onto the correct vehicles as per dispatch schedules. 5] Coordinate with the production and packaging teams to ensure readiness of goods for dispatch. 6] Monitor departure and arrival times of vehicles and resolve delays in real-time. 7] Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring accuracy, care in handling food products, and adherence to safety standards. 8] Check that delivery documentation (invoices, packing lists, etc.) is accurate and complete. 9] Track vehicle movement via GPS or logistics software and ensure timely delivery to all destinations. 10] Maintain open communication with drivers to monitor route progress and resolve issues (traffic, breakdowns, delivery rejections). 11] Supervise and coordinate drivers, loaders, and logistics assistants. 12] Maintain vehicle logs, fuel records, and delivery documentation. 13] Prepare daily dispatch reports, delivery status updates, and vehicle utilization summaries. 14] Track KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, dispatch accuracy, and logistics costs. 15] 3-5 years of experience in logistics or dispatch management, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
