Logistics Manager

As a Logistics Manager in Cuttack, Odisha, your main responsibility will be to oversee and optimize the supply chain operations. You will need to coordinate procurement, warehousing, transportation, and distribution efficiently to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Your role will involve: - Planning, managing, and monitoring logistics operations, including inventory, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain processes. - Ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials to customers and internal stakeholders. - Negotiating with vendors, transporters, and third-party logistics providers for cost-effective solutions. - Implementing and monitoring KPIs to evaluate logistics performance. - Maintaining compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies. - Optimizing routes, reducing transportation costs, and improving overall efficiency. - Leading and training logistics staff to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. - Preparing regular reports on logistics performance, expenses, and operational challenges. Qualifications required for this position include: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management. - Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP/Tally, and MS Excel. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. - Familiarity with local geography and transportation networks in Cuttack & BBSR is preferred.
