Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator with expertise in Cost of Production (COP) and Certificate of Analysis (COA) management for our food manufacturing industry. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing the plant supply chain, optimizing logistics costs, and ensuring all necessary documentation for product quality compliance. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating the procurement, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods, managing transportation and warehouse operations to ensure timely deliveries, and collaborating with suppliers, production, and sales teams for seamless operations. You will also be responsible for monitoring and optimizing logistics-related expenses, working closely with finance and operations teams to analyze and reduce COP, and implementing cost-saving strategies without compromising quality. Additionally, you will handle proper documentation and record-keeping of COAs for all raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and maintaining up-to-date records to support audits, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance. In terms of inventory and warehouse management, you will monitor stock levels, implement best practices for perishable goods, and conduct periodic stock audits to maintain accuracy and efficiency. You will also plan and optimize delivery routes, manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, and track shipments to resolve any logistics-related issues. Utilizing ERP and logistics software, you will track supply chain performance, generate and analyze reports on inventory, order fulfillment, COP, and COA compliance, and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements. To qualify for this position, you should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, along with 2-3+ years of experience in logistics, with a strong understanding of COP and COA handling in the food manufacturing industry. Additionally, you should possess expertise in logistics and supply chain management, strong knowledge of COP analysis and cost optimization, experience in handling COA documentation and regulatory compliance, proficiency in ERP systems, logistics software, and Microsoft Excel, excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills, an understanding of food safety and quality control regulations, attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
