Loan Processor - Lending (US Mortgage)

Role Overview: As an Analyst/Senior Analyst, you will manage the loan processing workflow to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide exceptional service to clients and loan officers. Your main responsibility will involve reviewing loan applications, verifying documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders to facilitate timely loan closings. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze loan applications for completeness and accuracy - Verify borrower information and creditworthiness - Communicate with various parties to gather necessary information - Ensure regulatory compliance throughout the loan processing - Submit loan files for underwriting approval - Monitor loan status and assist in training junior loan processors - Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage processing or similar role - Thorough understanding of mortgage products, processes, and regulations - Experience with loan processing software such as Encompass or Calyx - Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently - NMLS license (preferred) - In-depth knowledge of mortgage processing and underwriting guidelines - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficiency in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite - Multitasking capabilities, attention to detail, accuracy, and strong customer service orientation,
