Position Purpose The engineer/developer is working closely with his team members and business teams to develop features according to a requirement.
He must also ensure that developments are aligned with best practices and monitor what has been promoted on higher environments.
Production or tests environments supports activities are also part of the position (job monitoring, issues solving, )

Load-Balancing F5 BIG-IP i5000 Series
i5600/i5800
16 Virtual LB Clusters - Deploy URLs according to Arval standard
- Deploy/renew/debug SSL-certificate (public/internal Domains)
Renew certificate soon to be expired on monthly basis. Have knowledge in different type of certificate (SAN,Wildcard, etc )
- Ensure support in case of incident and assist ARVAL users to identify VIP related issues
- Create, implement and debug I-rules
- Patching Assist the team to patch the 4 F5 chassis and the 16 virtual Clusters. Patching is always performed in Non-Business Hours.
Load-Balancing Citrix Netscalers 2 LB Clusters
- Deploy URLs according to Arval standard
- Deploy/renew/debug SSL-certificate (public/internal Domains)
Renew certificate soon to be expired on monthly basis. Have knowledge in different type of certificate (SAN,Wildcard, etc )
- Ensure support in case of incident and assist ARVAL users to identify VIP related issues
- Create, implement and debug Content-Switch URLs
- Patching Assist the team to patch the 2 Netscaler Clusters and the 16 virtual Clusters. Patching is always performed in Non-Business Hours.
Proxy skyhigh security (ex Mcafee) 4 Appliances
- Deploy whitelist/Blacklist according to Arval standard
- Debug web proxy issue
- Patching Assist the team to patch the 4 proxys. patching is always performed in Non-Business Hours.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies Be autonomous on this technology (Senior to expert level) and motivated on the daily tasks.
Be an active member of the squad (often multi-technologies).
Be proactive by raising alerts when its flagged, try to understand the global context and suggest how to solve an issue (without focusing only on his subpart). it will also help to understand better the rest of the team (who will not necessarily work on the same tool)
Be able to provide proofs that developments are matching to the requirement (tests cases)
Have proper communication with the Business. (English language)
Have some knowledge regarding deployment/versioning tools (Ansible, Refapp )
Have some knowledge on project tracking software (Jira, Snow, Tufin)
Have some knowledge regarding monitoring tools (Dynatrace, )
Provide his technical expertise to suggest optimization and technical enhancements
Specific Technical skills required for this role:
Past experiences in managing F5 Load Balancers (physical / virtual)
Past experiences in managing Citrix Netscalers Load Balancers (physical)
Past experiences managing Proxy (Mcafee/trellix web gateways)
