Job Description

As a Live Underwriter in US Mortgage with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience, your role involves conducting credit analysis based on borrowers" Income, Assets, Liabilities, and Collateral to evaluate creditworthiness. You will be responsible for evaluating complete loan documents, including Appraisal analysis and Property Valuation, to provide approval or denial decisions. Your expertise in Income calculation for various income types and credit report analysis will be crucial in verifying trade lines, derogatory accounts, public records, and credit reconciliations. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct credit analysis based on borrowers" 4Cs of Underwriting to assess creditworthiness - Evaluate complete loan documents and provide approval or denial decisions - Perform a thorough review of Collateral, including Appraisal analysis and Property Valuation - Expertise in Income calculation for various income types - Complete credit report analysis to verify trade lines, derogatory accounts, public records, and credit reconciliations Qualifications Required: - Graduate in any discipline - 4 to 6 years of US mortgage underwriting experience, with at least 2+ years in Live Underwriting - Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, and investor guidelines - Comprehensive understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans If you possess strong analytical and decision-making abilities, attention to detail, familiarity with mortgage processing software, excellent communication, and documentation skills, along with proficiency in English, this opportunity in US Mortgage Underwriting is for you.
