Job Description

As a Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your role is crucial in ensuring the operational continuity of our clients" IT infrastructure and systems. You will be the initial point of contact for clients, responsible for addressing technical incidents and problems efficiently to meet service level agreement conditions. Your daily tasks will involve proactive monitoring of client infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues, providing first-line support for standard incidents, and service requests. You will investigate and address first-line incidents, performing maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes to uphold the smooth functioning of client systems. Working across multiple technology domains, including Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, or Collaboration, you will contribute to updating knowledge articles, optimizing work processes, and supporting project work as required. Additionally, you will play a role in disaster recovery functions, ensuring the safety and security of clients" data. Central to your success in this role is your ability to troubleshoot and provide support in various technical areas within medium to large ICT organizations. You should have a basic understanding of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes, along with proficiency in using ITSM tools. Your client-centric approach, effective communication skills, and adaptability to changing circumstances will be essential in delivering positive client experiences. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include seamless shift handovers, incident reporting and escalation, and striving for efficient incident resolutions. Emphasizing a positive outlook, willingness to work diligently, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT or Computing will be key to excelling in this position.
