Job Description

As a Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients" IT infrastructure and systems. Your responsibilities include: - Being the first point of contact for clients, handling first-line support for standard and low-complexity incidents and service requests. - Proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems to ensure zero missed service level agreement conditions. - Monitoring client infrastructure and solutions, identifying and addressing problems and errors promptly. - Diving deep into first-line incidents, identifying root causes, and providing support through telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat channels. - Conducting maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes to uphold the operational efficiency of client systems. - Working across multiple technology domains such as Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, or Collaboration. - Updating and creating knowledge articles, optimizing work processes, and supporting project work as required. - Contributing to disaster recovery functions and tests to ensure client data safety. - Ensuring seamless shift changes with detailed handovers for service continuity. - Reporting and escalating incidents when necessary and striving for efficient incident resolution to provide a positive client experience. Qualifications required for this role include: - Entry-level experience in troubleshooting and support within a medium to large ICT organization. - Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes. - Proficiency in handling tickets promptly based on defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Good understanding of ITSM tools and processes. - Ability to plan activities and projects in advance while being adaptable to changing circumstances. - Client-centric approach with strong communication skills and the ability to work across different cultures. - Proficiency in active listening techniques and maintaining a positive outlook even in high-pressure environments. - Willingness to work diligently and extend working hours when necessary. - A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT or Computing, or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
