Line Supervisor or Feed Salesman

Role & responsibilities

• Monitor all daily activities at multiple poultry farms, ensuring compliance with company protocols and biosecurity norms.
• Oversee and audit record-keeping related to poultry health, feed, water consumption, and hygiene maintained by farmers.
• Supervise and guide farm workers, ensuring proper welfare and safe working conditions.
• Ensure the correct and timely weighing, grading, and dispatch of birds as per company standards.
• Train farmers/workforce regarding best practices, safety protocols, and documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on farm performance, farmer compliance, and audit findings.
• Communicate regularly with farmers, address grievances, and escalate major disputes to the Branch Manager.
• Coordinate with Weighment Supervisors for optimizing logistics and minimizing losses.Identify potential risks, non-compliances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support integration of new policies, systems, or technologies aimed at improving productivity and welfare.
• May require overtime or weekend work in peak seasons.

• Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with farmers, distributors, and retailers within your territory.
• Showcase your sales expertise and market knowledge to educate customers on product benefits and foster trust.
• Own your sales targets and take pride in every new client you bring on board.
• Manage the complete sales cyclefrom lead generation to order closure and post-sale support.
• Provide continuous feedback to management on market dynamics and competitor activities.
• Champion the brand and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through responsiveness and professionalism.
