Overview:

Techno-Functional Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for LIMS-related projects.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of LIMS solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for solution design and delivery.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding and successful execution of project goals.
• Proactively research and evaluate emerging technologies to support business processes and recommend innovative solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate project updates and gain stakeholder buy-in.
• Support testing, validation, and training activities during the LIMS implementation lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within laboratory and data management workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field.

• 4–6 years

  of experience as a Business Analyst, with

  hands-on experience in LIMS implementation

  .
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and data management principles.
• Techno-functional mindset with the ability to grasp new technologies and bridge the gap between business and IT.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid project methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with LIMS platforms (e.g., LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage, Thermo Fisher SampleManager, etc.).
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in the life sciences or healthcare domain (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Experience with system integrations, data migration, or validation processes is advantageous.
