Lift Technician

Role Overview: As a Lift Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of lifts (elevators), escalators, and other vertical transportation systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and complies with relevant regulations and safety standards. Your tasks will include installing new lift systems, testing and commissioning equipment, conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and responding to emergency call-outs to ensure continuous operation. Key Responsibilities: - Install new lift systems, escalators, and moving walkways as per manufacturer specifications - Test and commission newly installed equipment to ensure proper functionality - Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety checks to identify potential faults - Lubricate and adjust lift components to minimize wear and tear and maintain smooth operation - Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic lift components - Replace defective parts such as cables, motors, or control systems - Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and breakdowns to minimize downtime Qualifications Required: - Diploma, ITI certification, or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Lift Engineering - 1-5 years of experience in lift installation, maintenance, or servicing preferred - Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams - Familiarity with safety standards and industry regulations Additional Company Details: This is a full-time, permanent position offering benefits such as health insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift with a yearly bonus. The role requires reliable commuting or willingness to relocate to Guwahati, Assam.
