We’re seeking a Braze Developer to join our Lifecycle Marketing team — a hands-on Braze expert responsible for building, QA’ing, and launching high-quality lifecycle campaigns across Email, Push, In-App Messages, and SMS. This role is the operational engine of campaign execution — turning strategic briefs into fully executed Braze Canvases and Campaigns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional user experience at every touchpoint.
● Build and configure multi-channel journeys using Braze Canvases and Campaigns, including setup of entry criteria, audience filters, and action paths.
● Develop personalized, dynamic messaging through Liquid logic, Connected Content, and Custom Attributes to deliver highly tailored communications.
● Execute full QA across all channels — validating test data, QA of target audience segments, manage Go/No Gos, message rendering, URLs, and personalization fields using Customer.io’s Test Data Preview.
● Work with engineering teams to validate API-triggered or event-based campaigns, reviewing payloads and data mapping.
● Build and QA campaigns across Email, Push, In-App, and SMS channels, verifying deep links, UTM tracking, rendering, and targeting accuracy.
● Manage audience segmentation using filters, recency/frequency logic, and custom attributes within Braze.
● Collaborate closely with Lifecycle Marketing Managers, Design, and Product to streamline approvals and maintain version control.
Requirements
● 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and launching campaigns in Braze.
● Deep understanding of Canvases, Campaigns, Segments, Liquid scripting, Connected Content, and Custom Events.
● Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS for email, with working knowledge of JSON payloads and API integrations. Experience managing multi-channel campaigns including Push, In-App, and SMS.
● Experience with Braze Currents and analytics integrations (e.g., Amplitude, Looker, or Snowflake)
