Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Manager with a strong background in real estate law and compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all legal matters related to land acquisition, property documentation, litigation, RERA compliance, and regulatory approvals, ensuring that the company operates within the legal framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate legal documents including sale deeds, lease agreements, MOUs, development agreements, JVs, and POAs.
• Manage all legal aspects of land acquisition, title due diligence, and approvals.
• Coordinate with external law firms for legal opinions, title search reports, and litigation matters.
• Ensure compliance with RERA, local municipal laws, environment regulations, and other statutory authorities.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, civil and criminal cases, and handle litigation management.
• Guide internal departments on legal risks, regulations, and compliance matters.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on legal and compliance issues.
• Maintain a legal database and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Liaise with government departments for property-related registrations and approvals.
• Monitor and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.

Requirements:

• LLB / LLM from a reputed university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in the real estate or infrastructure sector.
• Strong knowledge of RERA, property laws, land laws, contract law, and civil procedures.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in handling legal software and MS Office tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal issues concurrently.
