Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee preparation and presentation of timely, accurate, and value-added information on legal entities to senior management.
  • Review statutory financial statements, management accounts, and variance analysis.
  • Validate US Federal Reserve entity-level reporting and ensure compliance.
  • Supervise monthly reconciliations of accounts and balances.
  • Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Company Secretarial, Product Controllers, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and support various monthly, quarterly, and annual processes for managed entities.
  • Manage and mentor staff within the Mumbai team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regional service providers.
  • Participate in process re-engineering, standardization, and automation initiatives.
  • Support business units in setup, opening & closing of entities, and system/ledger requirements.
  • Contribute to entity-specific projects and reporting control framework.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Must-Have:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, Accounting, Journal Entries, Balance Sheet, and Financial Statements.
  • Experience in statutory audits, reconciliations, and management reporting.

  • Good-to-Have:

  • Legal Entity Controller (LEC) accounting exposure.
  • Experience in financial automation, data visualization, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with financial products used in the financial services industry.
