Responsibilities: Proactively monitor and manage legal and compliance documents, such as contract agreements, lease agreements, and any other important documents, as well as keeping track of renewal dates and notifying management in a timely manner. Provide suggestions when legal proceedings or legal matters are involved. Establish and maintain clear communication with internal team members, external professionals such as legal consultant, compliance agency, company secretary, and regulatory bodies to initiate, manage, and finalize legal and statutory matters. Coordinate with various government departments and regulatory agencies (e.g., Income Tax, MCA, ROC, MSME, etc.) to ensure full statutory compliance. Advise on employment-related legal issues, including contract employment, ensuring company policies comply with current labour laws. Draft, review, and finalize various legal documents, such as: Contract Agreements Vendor Agreements Lease Agreements Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) Employment Contracts MSME declarations to clients No Dues Certificates to clients. Managing Digital Signature Card (DSC) renewals. Board meeting scheduling and arrangements Maintaining Minutes of Meetings and Board resolutions. Ensure company policies comply with relevant legal standards and implement process improvements aligned with evolving laws and regulations. Oversee compliance with all applicable laws, including conducting audits, and deploying compliance frameworks across the organization. Knowledge in areas such as: Data Privacy and Consumer Protection Statutory Regulations Dispute resolution Gratuity Act. Factories Act (leave encashment). Legal complications related to cases of absconding employees. Death benefit as per applicable acts. Advise management on statutory obligations and compliance matters, helping reduce legal and compliance risks across operations. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement solutions to mitigate legal and compliance risks within the organization. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB). (Company Secretary qualification is an added advantage). 2-3 years of experience in legal advisory, and regulatory compliance. Strong understanding of corporate, law. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
