Assistant Project Manager - MEP

• Based at the project site to oversee daily operations and execution of project delivery.
• Act as a delegate for the Project Manager in their absence to ensure smooth project execution.
• Direct and provide guidance to the Project Engineering team and junior staff.
• Prepare and manage the master program with support from the Project Coordinator / Site Engineers and assist the Project Manager in aligning the project schedule.
• Ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Assist the Project Manager in identifying and implementing risk mitigation strategies at the site.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards for all critical works in coordination with the H&S Manager.
• Ensure that all works are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Supervise the contractors work and monitor the performance of the contractors.
• Ensure that only authorized works are carried out at the site.
• Ensure full compliance with labor regulations and site safety protocols.
• Verify and process contractor bills in accordance with the contract terms, in coordination with the Construction Manager.
• Review and validate labor requirements highlighted by the contractor; provide corrective actions when needed.

Candidate background

• 5+ years' experience in MEP
• Graduation in Mechanical/ electrical stream
