Legal Associate

Role Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associate with around 1 year of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to contract drafting, basic IPR filings, data privacy laws, and labour law compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in corporate law within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Drafting & Negotiation:

• Draft, review, and assist in negotiating various corporate and commercial contracts such as NDAs, MoUs, vendor agreements, and service contracts.

1. Intellectual Property (IPR) Management:

• Support in filing and tracking trademark and copyright applications, managing renewals and oppositions, and coordinating with IP attorneys in India and abroad.

1. Data Privacy Compliance:

• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws such as GDPR, the IT Act, and the DPDP Act.
• Review privacy policies and help maintain legal documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

1. Labour & Employment Law:

• Support the team in preparing employment contracts and HR policy documents.
• Assist in ensuring basic compliance with Indian labour laws and HR-related legal matters.
