Legal Associate

As a Legal Associate with our team, you will play a crucial role in handling GST-related legal matters. Your expertise in GST laws and experience in litigation and representation will be key assets in this role. Your proactive nature, attention to detail, and exceptional communication and drafting skills will contribute to our success. Key Responsibilities: - Handle various GST-related legal matters such as litigation, assessments, audits, and appeals - Draft responses to Show Cause Notices, Appeals, and Legal Notices - Represent clients in front of GST authorities and appellate bodies - Interpret legal provisions and provide opinions on indirect tax matters - Coordinate with internal teams and clients to provide updates on cases and maintain documentation - Stay informed about the latest amendments, circulars, and case laws related to GST Key Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory - Thorough understanding of GST Act, Rules, and Procedures - Experience in GST litigation or indirect tax legal work - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to independently manage multiple assignments - Strong analytical and drafting skills In addition to the above, preferred skills include exposure to departmental proceedings under GST, hands-on experience in client handling, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Please note that the salary for this position will be as per industry standards. You will report to the Senior Partner / Head of Litigation for this role.,
