Lead/Principal Analyst - Fundamental Equities

Role Overview: Looking for experienced and detail-oriented professionals to join the Fundamental Equities Privates team within the Financial Research group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with front-office teams to evaluate and monitor private investment opportunities globally, particularly in the technology and software sectors. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct end-to-end evaluation of private firms (early to late stage), focusing on unit economics, TAM, customer cohorts, and industry positioning.- Build robust financial models and perform valuation analysis using limited and varied data sources.- Drive investment write-ups, prepare presentations, and contribute to due diligence via data room analysis.- Participate in calls with company management and industry experts to validate investment hypotheses.- Track and monitor portfolio companies and provide ongoing performance updates to investment teams. Candidate Profile: - 5+ years of investment research experience in technology, software, or services sectors.- Strong hands-on expertise in financial modeling and valuation.- Prior experience in private equity, venture capital, or investment banking preferred.- Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Degree in finance or related field; CFA or MBA (preferred but not mandatory).
