Job Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist

This role requires partnering with Executive Hiring BPs and business leaders to understand business needs and challenges, translating them into position requirements, and developing strategies to identify and attract top-tier diverse talent. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in senior executive technical search, including candidate identification, creative sourcing, and market mapping.

Your Role

Understanding the Mandate

  • Partner with Executive Hiring BPs to understand requirements and competitors to be mapped.
  • Define scope and timelines of delivery in consultation with Executive Hiring BPs and/or business leaders.
  • Use this knowledge to identify the most relevant candidates for specific roles.

Market Research

  • Create a target list of companies and candidates matching mandate specifications.
  • Conduct research and market analysis using online resources, published material, networks, and internal databases.
  • Build a repository of sector/industry knowledge, including org charts, salary grids, and senior talent movements.

Data Collection and Update

  • Capture mapped candidate data in pre-defined templates ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Regularly update candidate data using technology and automation tools.
  • Maintain a talent pool of potential candidates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Sourcing

  • Understand requirements for VP-level roles.
  • Source candidates via social media and job boards.
  • Prepare long lists of prospects for Executive Hiring BPs.
  • Present candidate profiles and client-ready deliverables in Word or PowerPoint.

Reporting

  • Create reports as per mandate, including organization maps and senior candidate lists.
  • Develop dashboards using Power BI or similar tools for interactive reporting.
  • Prepare role-based reports highlighting talent landscape (target organizations, location, gender, etc.).

Your Profile

  • Experience:

    5+ years in a corporate environment, preferably in research, professional services, management consulting, financial services, or market research.
  • Education:

    Bachelors degree or above in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Skills & Tools:

    • Familiarity with LinkedIn, BoardEx, Naukri, ZoomInfo, Capital IQ, Hoovers, and other research tools.
    • Prior experience with top-tier firms (Big Four, Accenture) or leading executive search firms (Korn Ferry, Heidrick & Struggles).
    • Proficiency in recruitment databases, ATS systems, and HR software.
    • Strong knowledge of social media and networking for recruitment.
    • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
  • Attributes:

    • Strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Well-developed business acumen.
