Job Description

What You'll Do:

The Lead Workday Administrator will be responsible for the implementations, configurations, maintenance, and support related to the Workday human capital management (HCM) system and other systems in the HR space. This includes the design and development of business processes, security administration, integrations with other systems, data management, reporting and analytics, and end-user support. The Lead Workday Administrator will also be responsible for relationship management with internal HR customers, coordination and management of work between members of the HR Systems team, and training of new and existing HR Systems resources.

  • Strategic Implementation & Configuration:

     Lead the deployment and customization of Workday HCM modules, aligning technology solutions with organizational objectives and best practices.
  • Enterprise Integrations:

     Architect and maintain robust integrations between Workday and critical systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, LMS), ensuring data integrity and system interoperability.
  • Data Governance:

     Oversee comprehensive audits and validation protocols to maintain high standards for data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Security & Compliance:

     Define and administer complex security structures, ensuring appropriate access controls and regulatory alignment.
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting:

     Design and deliver advanced Workday reports and dashboards that support strategic decisions and organizational visibility.
  • Continuous Improvement:

     Monitor Workday feature releases, assess potential impact, and implement enhancements that drive efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:

     Collaborate closely with HR, IT, and business leaders to streamline processes, enhance system performance, and align Workday capabilities with evolving business strategies.
  • Team Up-skilling:

    Train new and existing HR Systems team members in internal processes and technical skills.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Over 6 years of progressive experience administering, configuring, and optimizing Workday systems, with a strong emphasis on scalable solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Advanced expertise across multiple Workday modules, including HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Integrations.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining complex Workday Integrations to support enterprise-level operations.
  • Deep understanding of HR and payroll business processes, compliance standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Workday certifications strongly preferred, reflecting a commitment to industry best practices and professional development.
