Lead UX Designer

As a Lead UX Designer with 5-10 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our next-generation Design Automation platform. Your responsibilities will include designing intuitive workflows, optimizing user interactions, and ensuring a seamless experience for engineers working on complex CAD tools. The ideal candidate for this position should have a background in technical and engineering software UX design, along with a solid understanding of data visualization, real-time collaboration, and workflow efficiency. You should possess at least 5 years of UX design experience, preferably in technical or engineering applications. Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms is essential. Experience in designing UX for data-heavy applications, dashboards, or simulation tools will be advantageous. An understanding of data visualization principles, including graphs, plots, and real-time analytics, is also required. Your portfolio should showcase your expertise in UX work for complex software applications. Familiarity with UX for multi-user collaboration and cloud-based applications is a plus. Basic knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary for effective collaboration with developers. Experience with EDA tools, AI-driven design automation, and real-time interface systems will be considered a bonus. Knowledge of motion design and micro-interactions to enhance UX is highly desirable. A degree in Design or a related field (Masters or Bachelors) is required for this role. Your key responsibilities will include conducting user research, analyzing engineering workflows, designing clear layouts, developing interactive prototypes, and creating UX for data visualization. You will also be responsible for ensuring seamless UX for multi-user collaboration, accessibility, and usability.
