Role & responsibilities

Job Title:

Experience:

Lead Structural Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the structural design team in planning, analysis, and design of buildings and infrastructure projects.
Prepare design calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with international and local standards.
Review and approve structural designs prepared by junior engineers and consultants.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to ensure design intent and structural safety.
Conduct structural assessments, value engineering, and feasibility studies.
Manage project timelines, resources, and client communications effectively.
Ensure compliance with safety codes, sustainability principles, and quality standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Expertise in design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit Structure, etc.)
Strong understanding of IS codes, ACI, BS, and Eurocode standards
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Sound knowledge of RCC and steel structure design
Strong communication and presentation abilities

Desired Candidate Profile:

Master’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from a recognized university
Minimum 15 years of experience in structural design of high-rise buildings, industrial structures, or infrastructure projects
Experience with design consultancy or EPC companies preferred
Chartered Engineer certification is a plus
