Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lead Senior HPC Engineer based in Mumbai, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Lead Senior HPC Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing HPC and big data solutions, optimizing scientific research workflows, and providing technical guidance for cloud/HPC infrastructure. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and ensure efficient and scalable systems are delivered to clients. The candidate will also support troubleshooting, innovation, and delivery of best-in-class HPC environments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HPC technologies, including experience with cluster management tools, workload schedulers (e.g., SLURM, PBS, Torque), and containerized systems like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in cloud environments, particularly AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and AWS Batch.
• Strong programming and automation skills using Python, Bash scripting, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of scientific research applications like GROMACS, NAMD, NONMEM, and similar software.
• Experience in big data solutions and frameworks, including data lakes and AI/ML infrastructure.
• Proven leadership and team collaboration skills to lead projects and support diverse client needs.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering innovative solutions.
