Description
As a Quality Lead for Private Label FMCG (Non-Food) in Bangalore, your role involves ensuring the highest quality standards for Home Care, Personal Care, and Baby Care products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing supplier quality, and adhering to regulatory compliance are crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and brand reputation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and implement quality standards, specifications, and guidelines for Home Care, Personal Care, and Baby Care products. - Work closely with 3P Suppliers for R&D and product development to ensure safety, performance, and quality benchmarks are met. - Conduct product evaluations, sensory testing, and performance assessments during development phases. - Ensure products comply with regulatory standards such as BIS, FDA, ISO, and Ayush. - Conduct audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. - Onboard new FMCG suppliers while ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory criteria. - Analyze quality trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives. - Identify root causes for quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions. - Provide training and support to new suppliers on company standards. - Handle end-to-end quality operations in the retail supply chain. - Travel to supplier locations for quality inspections and issue resolution. - Frame specifications and SOPs for Home Care, Personal Care, and Baby Care products. - Lead FMCG Non-Food projects from development to implementation. - Possess strong technical knowledge on Drug & Cosmetic, Ayush license, LM, PCB, and Labeling Guidelines. - Develop and implement Non-Food regulatory and quality strategic plans for Private label brands. - Address and resolve customer complaints regarding product quality. - Use customer feedback for product and process improvements. - Continuously develop supplier QA team through training and knowledge sharing. - Interact with 3rd Party Suppliers and corporate QA Team on quality and safety projects. - Provide guidance to the Supplier Quality Team. **Key Skills:** - Ability to develop and lead projects independently. - Strong experience in managing stakeholders and strategic sourcing processes. - Proficient in analyzing data to identify root causes and lead teams towards resolution. - Experience in Non-Food Categories like Home care, Cosmetics, paper & disposables, etc. - Process-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. - Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. - Strong organizational and teamwork skills. - Positive attitude with excellent communication and information-sharing abilities. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors/Masters degree in Chemistry, Cosmetology, or Chemical Engineering. - Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in FMCG (Non-Food) Home Care, Personal Care, or Baby Care products. - Familiarity with chemical formulations, product testing, and regulatory frameworks. - Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques such as FMEA, SPC, CAPA. - Good knowledge of data analysis tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.,
