Lead QA/QC Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist the Quality Lead in all civil quality aspects of Power T&D projects.

 Review method statements, and material submittals for compliance with proj ect

specifications and relevant IS/ IEC standards .

 Review vendor documents and coordinate with the design and engineering teams for

timely approvals.

 Prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), field quality checklists, and required quality

documentation formats.

 Monitor and support QA/QC activities related to civil works at substations and

transmission lines.

 Guide site teams in implementing quality control procedures and industry best practices.

 Periodically visit project sites to verify 100°/o compliance with approved Field Quality

Plans (FQPs).

 Support site quality staff in executing civil works as per the FOP for all ongoing T&D proj

ects.

 Review and confirm site quality records in line with project specifications.

 Review site testing reports related to civil and mechanical activities and ensure

alignment with standards and specifications.

 Ensure construction activities comply with all applicable safety and quality requirements.

 Prepare and maintain quality reports, non-conformance records (NCRs), and follow-up

action plans.

 Support internal and external audits and contribute to root cause analysis of quality

issues.

 Ensure consistency in quality management processes across projects and vendor

location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
