Lead, Platform Engineering

As a Lead Platform Engineer at the organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and building cloud-based distributed systems to address complex business challenges for top-tier companies. Leveraging your expertise in software engineering, cloud engineering, and DevOps, you will craft technology stacks and platform components that enable cross-functional AI Engineering teams to create robust, observable, and scalable solutions. Through collaboration within a diverse and globally distributed engineering team, you will be engaged in the complete engineering lifecycle, from design and development to optimization and deployment at a scale matching the largest companies worldwide. **Core Responsibilities:** - Designing cloud solutions and distributed systems architecture for full stack AI software and data solutions - Implementing, testing, and managing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) for cloud-based solutions, covering CI/CD, data integrations, APIs, web and mobile apps, and AI solutions - Defining and implementing scalable, observable, manageable, and self-healing cloud-based solutions across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement analytics and AI features meeting business requirements and user needs - Utilizing Kubernetes and containerization technologies for deploying, managing, and scaling analytics applications in cloud environments - Developing and maintaining APIs and microservices to expose analytics functionality internally and externally - Implementing security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance - Monitoring and troubleshooting application performance to ensure reliability and optimal user experience - Contributing to code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and promoting best practices - Keeping abreast of emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, data analytics, and software engineering **Qualifications Required:** - Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field - Minimum 6 years of experience with at least 3 years at the Staff level or equivalent - Proven experience as a cloud engineer and software engineer in product engineering or professional services organizations - Experience with cloud-based distributed solutions and certifications in GCP, AWS, or Azure - Proficiency in tools like Terraform, Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef, Grafana, Prometheus, etc. - Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines, backend APIs, and container technologies - Experience with Kubernetes, Python, Git, and workflow orchestration tools - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, curiosity, proactivity, and critical thinking - Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, API design, data architecture, and Agile methodologies (Note: The additional details of the company mentioned in the job description have been omitted for brevity.),
