Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Lead Market Research Analyst to oversee and execute strategic market research initiatives while managing and supporting a growing research team. This role is critical in driving insights that inform go-to-market strategies, support sales and marketing, and identify business opportunities across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B research within IT services or SaaS, along with proven experience in team leadership. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth secondary and primary research on target industries including FinTech, HealthTech, Payments, and ISVs. Build intelligence on prospective clients using key parameters such as industry, size, geography, and revenue. Perform competitive analysis, product benchmarking, and trend identification to support strategic decision-making. Translate research into clear, actionable insights and reports for sales, marketing, and leadership teams. Team Management & Support: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of market research analysts ; allocate work, set priorities, and ensure high-quality delivery. Provide ongoing support, coaching, and performance feedback to help the team grow and succeed. Review and validate research outputs to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business goals. Promote collaboration across the research team and other functions such as sales, marketing, and strategy. Work closely with the sales team to create targeted prospect lists , identify relevant buyer personas, and support outreach strategy. Tools & Process Optimization: Use B2B tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Hoovers , and CRM platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce . Maintain and improve research processes, databases, and knowledge repositories. Implement automation and process enhancements to improve research accuracy and efficiency. Requirements: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in B2B market research, preferably in IT services, SaaS, or consulting environments. Proven experience managing or mentoring a research or sales support team. Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles and experience supporting sales and marketing teams. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using B2B data tools, CRM platforms, and productivity software. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment. Organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven with a collaborative mindset.
