Lead Mainframe Developer

As a Lead Mainframe Developer at The Urban India, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing mainframe application solutions. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mainframe development. - Strong proficiency in Cobol and JCL scripting. - Experience with DB2 and RPG programming highly desirable. - Proven experience in leading development teams. - In-depth knowledge of mainframe architecture and performance tuning. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency. - Experience in software development lifecycle best practices. - Knowledge of security best practices in mainframe environments. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Certification in relevant technologies is a plus.
