Job Description

Responsibilities Analyze and determine user requirements for systems in production to ensure maximum usability.Design and develop software applications to meet business needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Continuously explore and incorporate industry best practices to improve development processes.Monitor application performance and implement changes for optimization.Troubleshoot and debug applications, provide timely resolution to issues.Develop and execute testing and quality assurance strategies.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 4+ years applied experience.Hands-on practical experience in Banking Payments Technologies.Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.Develop and execute unit, integration, system, and regression testing strategies with a focus on quality and performance.Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.Hands-on experience in IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, Mainframe application development suites, and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solutions.Hands-on experience in analytical and debugging skills.Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.Passionate about building an innovative culture.Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, testing, and software improvement.
