Lead IOS Engineer

As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our software engineering capability and looking for an experienced Senior iOS Engineer. Experience in leading from the front in the technical design, setup, and implementation of digital products and solutions for our clients.

You will have a proven track record of delivering best-in-class digital products whilst solving complex engineering problems. We are looking for a team player who is able to mentor and upskill other engineers whilst setting the bar for best practice.

Responsibilities

 Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to understand challenges and contribute to defining the technical scope for global sports properties.

 Be hands-on in building and delivering end-to-end solutions for clients while adhering to best practices in coding standards.

 Contribute to the design and evolution of software architecture, both in-house and in collaboration with clients.

 Support the hiring process by participating in interviews and providing feedback to help refine and improve recruitment efforts.

 Advocate for developer experience and actively seek opportunities to enhance it.

 Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the team.

 This is a hybrid role where you are expected to be in our office for 3 days a week.

What We Are Looking For

 A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in iOS development.

 A high level of proficiency and understanding in Swift.

 Strong architectural knowledge (e.g. MVVM-C, SOLID principles, TCA, reactive programming, dependency injection) and passion for writing clean, modular, and testable code using packages.

 Passion for delivering high-quality UI/UX that scales to all screen sizes using SwiftUI / UIKit.

 Versed in package management with SPM and CocoaPods.

 Experience in a CI/CD environment where you have utilised tools such as Bitrise, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

 Experience in agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation via unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.

 Experience monitoring the performance and analytics of applications using tools like Firebase, Sentry, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, etc.

Nice to Have

 Experience building/integrating modules using KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile) into projects.

 A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
