Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Develop and implement inventory strategies and policies to meet project requirements.
Forecast inventory needs based on project schedules and maintenance requirements.
Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and spare parts.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimize theft, loss, and damage.
Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile inventory records.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
Set reorder points and safety stock levels for critical inventory items.
Ensure that inventory levels align with the project's operational needs.
Proficient in SAP Transactions
Inventory cost reduction
Identify and address obsolete or slow-moving inventory items.
Generate and analyze inventory reports, including usage, aging, and stockout reports.
Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

-4 years of Experience in inventory and material management.

-Experience of store related processes, material reconciliation and issue, stock upkeeping, coordination with other departments and vendors for procurement and delivery of material etc.

-Graduate/MBA in any discipline

-Proficiency with MS Office programs.
