Lead Instructional Designer Pune

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with global stakeholders to uncover business needs, recommend learning solutions and build strong consulting relationships.
• Collaborate with SMEs and cross‑functional teams to design storyboards aligned to measurable learning objectives.
• Lead instructional design projects from concept to completion, managing timelines, vendors and stakeholder expectations.
• Define instructional flow and structure to support organisational goals.
• Evaluate existing programmes, identify gaps and recommend improvements tied to business outcomes.
• Configure, create and assemble content and graphics to craft relevant and engaging learning experiences.
• Design and manage content across multiple media including eLearning, video, blended learning and performance support.
• Convert business use cases into stories, scenarios and real‑world examples to deepen learner comprehension.
• Develop scenario‑based assessments, knowledge checks and interactive learning elements.
• Apply Generative AI tools for content, audio and video creation.
• Create, edit and produce video elements and rapid‑development video courses.
• Contribute to design templates, standards and best practices to drive quality and consistency across learning assets.
• Stay current with evolving trends and technologies in learning design and digital learning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, Diploma in Instructional Design or MA in Learning Sciences.
• Professional certifications in instructional design or eLearning are an advantage.
• 9–12 years’ experience in instructional design, learning delivery and instructional technology.
• Minimum 5 years delivering corporate learning programmes with strong expertise in eLearning tools.
• Portfolio showcasing diverse learning solutions including video, eLearning, blended learning and performance support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced skills in storyboarding, instructional writing, copywriting, scenario development and scriptwriting.
• Deep expertise in at least one niche learning area: design, technology, learner experience or visual design.
• Proficiency with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Captivate or similar.
• Experience working with global teams, cultures and industries.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently, prioritising workload and collaborating effectively.
