Summary:
Handles more complex MES issues that require deeper technical knowledge and system-level troubleshooting.
The Opportunity:
- Investigate and resolve escalated issues from L1.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring MES problems.
- Interface with MES application servers, databases, and integrations (e.g., ERP, SCADA).
- Coordinate with development or vendor teams for bug fixes or enhancements.
- Support MES configuration changes, patch deployments, and system upgrades.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Provide guidance and training to L1 support staff.
Skills Required:
- Strong technical knowledge of MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Proficy).
- Experience with SQL, system logs, and MES architecture.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (IT, production, engineering).
Qualifications
Must have 6-8 years of experience in MES_Technical Support
