Job Description

Role & responsibilities

You will lead in conducting feasibility studies and detailed engineering of new structures or rehabilitation of existing structures (dams, spillways, hydroelectric power plants).
You will lead in the completion and review of reinforced concrete and steel structure design.
You will participate in site inspections as needed.
You will lead the preparation of plans and specifications.
You will prepare reports and calculation notes.
You will lead and carry out dam safety studies.
You will mentor and supervise younger engineers.

Qualifications for Internal Candidates

Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent program.
12+ years' experience in structural engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in your province of practice.- optional
MUST HAVE experience with concrete and steel structure design in Hydropower and Dams projects.
Multi-disciplinary versatility, leadership skills, dynamic, team-spirited, quality-oriented, and technical excellence are essential.
Strong communication skills

BGV:
