Job Title: Engineer - Transport Planning Company Name: GCC Job Description: iCRC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineer in Transport Planning to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation engineering and planning, with an emphasis on developing efficient and sustainable transportation systems. Responsibilities: - Conduct transportation studies to analyze traffic patterns, road usage, and infrastructure needs. - Design and implement transport planning projects that improve mobility and accessibility. - Utilize modeling software like CUBE, VISUM and VISSIM and tools to undertake operational analysis in Synchro, SIDRA, HCS - Prepare technical reports and documentation for various projects and present findings to stakeholders. - The knowledge of Middle East technical manuals and the way of working is preferable. - Support the integration of multi-modal transportation solutions, including public transit, cycling, and pedestrian pathways. Qualifications: - Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in transport planning or a related field, with a strong understanding of traffic modeling and analysis. - Proficiency in relevant software applications (e. g. , VISUM, CUBE, VISSIM, SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCS, GIS, traffic simulation software). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information effectively. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
