Job Description

Job Responsibilities : Ensure audits are planned as per site & group standards and applicable regulatory requirement. Monitor the audits, audit findings/recommendations, develop system for monitoring of the same and work with relevant departments for closure of the recommendations in time. Participate in Audits of the relevant area of competency Conduct Safety Observation as per the target in the given area of responsibility Analyse the Safety Observation to arrive at actions to modify behaviours Ensure participation in Risk Management programs (Hazard Analysis, Incident Investigation and control measures identification and completion Impart training to enhance competency of the target group in the area of operation Plan and conduct Safety promotion to increase awareness in areas which need attention Liaisoning with various regulatory agencies as site representative. Monitoring of various applicable regulatory compliances & working with relevant departments for follow up of the same. To provide required guide for various regulatory issues when needed. Education Requirement : Necessary: Bachelors in Engineering/Science - Mechanical/ Chemical/ Instrumentation/Chemistry Desirable: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent Industry Recognized/Accepted Expert in HSE Post Graduate in Engineering/Science Experience Requirement : Necessary: 5 to 10 years of total experience- Process Industry Site Operations, Maintenance or safety 2-3 years of handling HSE Desirable : 2-3 years of Liaisoning with various regulatory agencies Skills & Competencies : Technical understanding of safety regulatory requirements Influencing skills Auditing Communication, Interpersonal skills and political understanding Strategic understanding Show more Show less
