Role & responsibilities: Effective value adds and management of Organisation Policies and Processes in alignment with Retail Business requirements. Identify the statutory requirements and support the Organization in gaining such requirements to support in seamless running of business. Ensure Safety priorities identified are executed well in alignment with the business. Should be able to identify trends which could potentially be threats to smooth running of business, highlight the same to the Senior management along with CAPA (Corrective Action preventive action). Analyze accidents to determine root causes and initiate company-wide actions to prevent occurrences in future. Conduct Health & Safety (H&S) compliances through periodic audits at sites and analyze trends to initiate corrective steps to constantly enhance the safety standards. Regular interactions with Cross-functions for managing the work location specific Safety duties. Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment at all Locations (Stores, DCs and Offices). Curate H&S Trainings to the need of the organization. Plan and manage the Health & Safety Budget. Proactively analyze possible safety failures that could occur and initiate steps to de risk the Company from such occurrences. Run various Health & Safety initiatives, campaigns, awareness sessions and communications on need basis for the entire Organization. Preferred candidate profile: The incumbent is required to have: Good managerial skills, Effective team management skills, Communication Skills, Analytical skills, should be a Team player, and have Basic Knowledge about MS office excel, word, power point.
