Job Description

As a lead for the FP&A divisional team, you will play a crucial role in managing reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Your responsibilities will include mentoring a team of analysts, ensuring timely financial reporting, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving process improvements. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: Role Overview: You will be leading a team of 3-5 analysts, guiding their growth, setting clear objectives, monitoring progress, and providing regular feedback. Additionally, you will serve as a backup to the Manager - FP&A and other team members. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and develop a team of analysts, ensuring high-quality work and alignment with organizational goals. - Oversee the preparation of financial reports, analyze financial performance, and review month-end deliverables for accuracy. - Collaborate with the onshore team for budgeting and forecasting cycles, create and maintain financial models, and document assumptions. - Evaluate and improve processes related to reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, implementing best practices and driving automation. - Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, addressing concerns and discussing requirements with the reporting manager and offshore stakeholders. - Provide insightful financial analysis for ad hoc projects, respond to queries from business partners accurately and timely. Qualifications Required: - Experience working cross-functionally in a global organization - Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team of 3+ members - 7+ years of experience in Management Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting - Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of financial accounting principles and standards - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with advanced skills in Excel - Strong analytical skills, continuous improvement mindset, flexibility, and a good team player - Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and ERP financial systems - Willingness to travel for business purposes (US Visa preferred) Educational Qualifications: - CA/CMA or MBA from a two-tier college with 8+ years of post-qualification experience - Hands-on experience with Oracle PBCS/SAP/Power BI/Data analytics This role offers you the opportunity to lead a team, drive financial insights, and contribute to process improvements in a collaborative global environment.,
