Job Description

  • As a Lead Engineer Engineering Operations and Transformation, you will be responsible for executing company strategic initiatives by working closely with Global engineering management team implement the process within India engineering teams.

As Lead Engineer-Engineering Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Involve global India stakeholders to provide regular updates to leadership team on operational and quality performance on operation/Quality Initiatives, communicating progress, identified risk / Mitigation plans.
  • Executing actions/ initiatives to meet the outsourcing contract obligations.
  • - Yearly SOW review, contract agreement, sourcing processes, Invoice processing with supplier revenue generations
  • Ownership On Time Delivery Process/Metrics, Quality Metrics at Global Engineering level Frequent review rhythm with suppliers global stakeholder on project progress identify risk and propose mitigation plans.
  • Acting towards managing the capacity capabilities based on the global workloads.
  • Monitoring all KPI s as part of Operation strategies and keep control through feedback mechanisms.
  • Facilitating supplier audits follow through audit actions and closures
  • Working with Finance team towards financial closing activities on quarterly, yearly to have strong revenue to achieve better site rates.
  • Working closely with Engineering team and suppliers to provide right training to develop the supplier competency, create capacity to support increased workload, work with cross functional teams and support Infrastructure set ups, keep rhythm of KPIs as part of the contract to meet the business commitments.
  • Executing Technical Support Management such as interdisciplinary activity, responsible for successful initiation, planning, design, and tracking of initiatives that design processes, components or complete products and/or services. Technical Support Management focusses on planning and execution, particularly of cross business unit or cross functional initiatives.
  • Managing engineering processes or initiatives such as PDM, KPIs and engineering tool development while supporting engineering resource management.
  • Working with other functions including supply chain, product management, finance and commercial, to ensure successful delivery of new products and services. Develops and executes the functional strategy.
  • Applying communication skills and knowledge of business goals, programs, or processes within a Product Line to ensure successful project outcomes. Execute to engage with customers to discuss, define, and present on current and future opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a BE/BTech or masters degree in computers or equivalent.

  • Have 4+ years of experience in Engineering operations, Digitization, driving strategy initiatives towards supplier management program management.
  • Have knowledge on Power platform applications, business intelligence, data analytics Excel reporting s.
  • Have experience in managing External contractors, Engineering suppliers, participate governance meetings.
  • Be Proficient in OBIEE, Power apps, power BI applications.
