The Lead Engineer will enhance customer experience by ensuring the achievement of perceived quality attributes in passenger vehicle programs. Responsibilities include researching PQ attribute trends, ideating during styling and engineering phases, conducting assessments for early identification of PQ improvements, and benchmarking tactile controls in vehicles. The role involves evaluating operational feel of controls, ensuring part-level PQ assessments, translating subjective measurements into objective requirements, and validating components. The engineer will also maintain program-level PQ summaries, publish periodic PQ reports, and anticipate risks to project milestones from a PQ perspective.
