Job Summary

The Electrical, DG & Air Conditioning Engineer (Leader) is responsible for leading the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical systems, diesel generator (DG) sets, and air conditioning/HVAC systems. The role includes team leadership, preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, energy optimization, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Systems

• Lead operation and maintenance of LT/HT panels, transformers, switchgear, UPS, and lighting systems
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and safe electrical operations
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Supervise electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades

DG (Diesel Generator) Systems

• Oversee operation, testing, and maintenance of DG sets and associated systems
• Manage fuel consumption, load management, and synchronization (if applicable)
• Coordinate AMCs, inspections, and statutory compliance
• Ensure emergency power readiness at all times

Air Conditioning / HVAC Systems

• Lead maintenance and operation of HVAC systems (Chillers, AHUs, VRFs, Split & Package ACs)
• Monitor cooling performance, energy efficiency, and system reliability
• Plan preventive maintenance schedules and breakdown handling
• Coordinate with OEMs and service providers

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, train, and supervise engineers, technicians, and operators
• Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure skill development
• Maintain discipline, safety culture, and operational standards

Safety, Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety, HVAC standards, and statutory regulations
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, SOPs, and reports
• Support audits and inspections

Energy & Cost Optimization

• Identify energy-saving opportunities across electrical, DG, and HVAC systems
• Monitor energy consumption and recommend improvements
• Control maintenance costs and spare inventory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
• Additional HVAC or Facilities Management certification preferred

Experience

• 8–15 years of experience in electrical, DG, and HVAC systems
• Minimum 2–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Experience in industrial plants, commercial buildings, data centers, hospitals, or large facilities preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
