Role Overview

AI/ML Lead Engineer

machine learning, knowledge graph technologies, and software engineering processes

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop an

  AI/ML-based system

  to detect and analyze year-over-year differences in IRS TRC publications.
• Build and implement

  knowledge graphs

  to model relationships between TRC changes and impacted code modules.
• Collaborate closely with

  tax domain experts, software engineers, and DevOps teams

  to ensure seamless integration into workflows.
• Define and enforce

  engineering best practices

  including CI/CD, version control, testing, and model governance.
• Manage the

  end-to-end lifecycle

  of the solution—from data ingestion and model training to deployment and monitoring.
• Ensure

  scalability, reliability, and performance

  of deployed systems in production.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a

  culture of technical excellence and innovation

  .

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in

  software engineering

  , with at least 5 years in

  AI/ML solution delivery

  .
• Strong expertise in

  Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and ML Ops frameworks

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Knowledge Graph technologies

  (Neo4j, RDF, SPARQL, GraphQL).
• Proficiency in

  NLP techniques

  for document comparison and semantic analysis.
• Solid understanding of

  software architecture, microservices, and API design

  .
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to

  deliver complex cross-functional projects

  .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with

  tax-related data structures (IRS TRCs)

  is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with

  regulatory or compliance-driven AI applications

• Exposure to

  code analysis tools

  and static/dynamic code mapping techniques.
• Hands-on experience with

  cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
