Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, development, and testing of embedded firmware for Class II/III medical devices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, systems, QA, RA) to define requirements, interfaces, and deliverables.

• Ensure compliance with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and other relevant medical device standards.

• Develop device drivers, communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, BLE, etc.), and real-time applications on RTOS and bare-metal systems.

• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and support system-level verification and validation (V&V).

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, risk analyses, and software architecture documents.

• Drive process improvements and mentor junior engineers in best practices for embedded development and medical device regulatory requirements.

• Support regulatory submissions by providing technical expertise and documentation.

• Evaluate and integrate new technologies (wireless connectivity, low-power design, IoT) relevant to medical applications.
