Job Description

Digital Solutions Lead Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of JiBe by managing the

ticket system, addressing user inquiries, and efficiently troubleshooting issues. This position is essential for

providing timely support and ensuring that technical challenges do not hinder productivity. As the primary point of

contact for users, the Lead Analyst is responsible for offering guidance, resolving system-related concerns, and

maintaining a seamless user experience.

Furthermore, the role includes project planning and execution, providing valuable exposure to project management

methodologies. This involves working alongside stakeholders to refine system processes and support innovation.

Staying updated on the latest IT trends and best practices is essential, allowing the Lead Analyst to bring fresh

insights to the team. Overall, this position is designed to ensure that the organisation benefits from both

operational stability and ongoing technological advancements. The primary objective is to ensure that digital tools

function effectively, drive operational efficiency, and support the organisation's long-term digital strategy.

Principal Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert to provide advanced support and strategic guidance to business users,

ensuring the timely resolution of tickets and reducing recurring issues through proactive improvements.

  • Configure and manage JiBe modules to ensure optimal functionality, escalating issues to vendors only

when necessary.

  • Assist the digital lead in designing, developing, and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new

modules and features.

  • Assist in initiating, implementing, and overseeing the rollout of new JiBe modules across global offices,

ensuring smooth adoption and alignment with business needs. - Coordinate with various departments

(e.g., Operations, Technical, Quality Assurance etc. ) to support operational effectiveness and system

integration.

  • Conduct training sessions for end users, ship staff, and office personnel to ensure proper adoption and

effective use of the system.

Stakeholder Engagement

External - Collaborate with software vendors and consultants to enhance the Digital Solutions portfolio, ensuring

optimal performance and adherence to industry standards.

Internal - Collaborate with Digital Solutions peers, onboard seafarers, and various departments to ensure effective

system implementation, training, and ongoing support.

Education

Bachelors degree in technology, Maritime Operations, or a related field.

Experience

- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in maritime industry roles within the AE organisation or similar positions

outside AE.

- Experience in project management for IT-related projects. - Demonstrated expertise in ERP system

implementation and management.

Specific Business Knowledge

- In-depth knowledge of maritime operations and the regulatory environment. - Proficient in digital systems

management and user support.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent computer skills with the ability to leverage information systems in the asset-intensive maritime industry.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Self-directed and highly motivated, requiring minimal supervision.
