Required Qualification

Role & responsibilities

• Technical Leadership:

  Ensure that all technical aspects of the project are executed in strict compliance with relevant standards, project requirements, and best engineering practices.

• Survey & Investigation Management:

  Plan, organize, and supervise surveys & investigations, including condition surveys of existing bridges and cross drainage (CD) structures.

• Geotechnical & Hydraulic Assessment:

  Plan and monitor subsoil and hydraulic investigations, interpret the results & apply findings to determine waterway requirements, span arrangements

• Bridge Rehabilitation & Widening:

  Evaluate options for rehabilitation or widening of bridges based on condition survey findings & finalize suitable solutions as required.

• Design Standards & Analysis:

  Develop & finalize design standards; perform analysis and design of concrete and steel bridges, as well as CD structures, covering foundations, substructure & superstructure.

• Technical Specifications:

  Prepare & finalize detailed technical specifications for all bridge components in accordance with project guidelines and international best practices.

• Working Drawings & Software Use:

  Prepare, review & finalize detailed working drawings using computer aided design & bridge engineering software such as STAAD and AutoCAD.
