Job Title : Railway Geometric Alignment Engineer Sr.Engineer Location : Bangalore, Asansol Experience : 4-8 Years Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Railway Geo Metric Alignment Engineer Sr.Engineer to oversee the planning, design, and execution of railway alignment projects. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in railway track design, surveying, and alignment planning. Candidates with NHAI experience are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage railway alignment projects, ensuring compliance with national standards. • Conduct route surveys, feasibility studies, and alignment design using CAD, and other relevant software. • Coordinate with government authorities, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. • Analyze geological, topographical, and environmental factors affecting railway alignment. • Attend client meetings and provide technical insights. • Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and alignment plans for approvals. • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Requirements : • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Civil qualification only). • Experience in railway alignment and track design, AutoCAD. • Proficiency in alignment design software like Bentley Rail Track, Open Rail Designer, or similar tools. • Strong knowledge of railway engineering standards and construction methodologies. • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. • Immediate joiners only.

Lead in the production of track designs and provision of technical support throughout to support all stages of the design process (Feasibility through to Construction) in both Plain Line and S&C, especially in the ANZ region. Independently deliver / manage the production of design deliverables in accordance with client requirements Acts as a Senior technical resource and serve as technical advisor and/or mentor for lesser experienced team members. Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others. Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects. Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component. Performs quality control review of design calculations, Models, or drawings. Prepares technical specification sections. Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. Agility in the face of dynamic project stages. This position may also be leading similar designs in other global regions if required. Qualifications Master of Engineering degree or Bachelor degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Washington Accord accredited preferred. Registered Practicing Engineer - Victoria (RPEV), (RPEQ), or eligible for qualification or working towards. 12+ Years of Track Design experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects with substantial experience in Australian or New Zealand Projects. Prior or current experience in gauging as per ESC215 in New South Wales is mandatory. Proficiency in Power Rail Track, Microstation mandatory. Open Rail Designer preferred. Extensive experience and Technical Proficiency in Plain Line and Switches & Crossings mandatory, preferably in ANZ region. Experience with earthworks, including cut and fill modelling and quantity estimation. Solid understanding of Australian Track Design including interpretation of Standards and application of SiD, HSE regulations. Solid understanding of track construction methods, stageworks of projects, Permanent Way components and surveys in Australian region. Working knowledge of AMB standards and requirements Demonstrated ability to author technical reports. Demonstrated ability to present their work and represent their colleagues on the project in presentations and meetings. Technical quality of deliverables undertaking checks of design deliverables completed by team members in accordance with company procedures. Timely delivery in accordance with design programmes. Experience of Attendance at technical design reviews including Design and Construction Interface meetings and Interdisciplinary Design Checks to present Track design. Keep up to date with industry best practices and where appropriate apply best practices within the project team environment.
