Job Description

Toprovide engineering expertise in (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) discipline forproduct development, Detailed Engineering, Value engineering, Developingstandard drawings / specifications and resolutions on maintenance relatedissues.

Strive to achieve sustainabledesigns for safe operations in line with business goals and Q&Q propositionof business.

Key Accountabilities

Maximise customer satisfaction( internal & external) and take corrective action on feedback

Manage cost and design / implement profit improvement opportunities

o Modifying design & specifications for reduction in cost

o Develop Vendors for New Initiatives & Roll Out

Adoption of technology solutions to gain competitive advantage

o New products evaluation and recommendation for adaptability for cost effectiveness

Engineer and implement projects to meet business requirements

o Prepare design basis

o Develop standard engineering drawings / specifications based on design basis

o Timely completion of project within prescribed budget and agreed norms of quality and HSE

o Resolution to site specific / vendor query

o Support to EAC on technical matters

o Carry out Detailed engineering

o Technical evaluation of vendors

Asset management to enhance reliability & productivity

o Providing technical solutions related to maintenance

o Stay abreast of developments in technology / industry / competition and adopt / innovate to give competitive edge to business and strive for customer delight

o Carry out root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend corrective action.

o Periodic interactions with stake holders to address gaps

Process Management towards Operational Excellence

o Update and write new process

o Analyse for deviations by site audits and suggest mitigation plan
