Lead Design Engr - CHO Projects MEP

As an experienced Engineer in the (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) discipline, you will be responsible for providing expertise in various areas such as product development, Detailed Engineering, Value engineering, and resolving maintenance related issues. Your role will involve striving to achieve sustainable designs for safe operations in alignment with business goals and the Q&Q proposition. Key Responsibilities: - Maximize customer satisfaction (internal & external) and take corrective action based on feedback - Manage costs and design/implement profit improvement opportunities, including modifying designs & specifications for cost reduction and developing vendors for new initiatives & roll out - Adopt technology solutions to gain a competitive advantage, evaluate new products, and recommend adaptability for cost-effectiveness - Engineer and implement projects to meet business requirements, prepare design basis, develop standard engineering drawings/specifications, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality norms - Manage asset to enhance reliability & productivity, provide technical solutions for maintenance, and stay updated on technology/industry advancements to give a competitive edge to the business - Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures, engage in periodic interactions with stakeholders, and focus on operational excellence through process management - Develop people for enhanced capability & productivity by sharing domain knowledge, creating training modules, and fostering in-house competency to meet all engineering needs - Continually improve practices related to EHS by reviewing and incorporating safety aspects in designs, performing root cause analysis of accidents/near misses, and implementing corrective actions Qualifications Required: - Education: Engineering Graduate (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) - Experience: Above 8-10 years of experience in a reputed engineering consultancy firm, with knowledge of Indian and international codes - Skills & Competencies: Domain knowledge holder, adept at keeping updated on technological developments, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, expert knowledge in the respective discipline, and understanding of statutory compliance.
